Spring Membership Drive

What better way to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month than to show your support of the exceptional and unique KRTU 91.7 FM by becoming a KRTU Member?

Recognized nationally as a source for quality jazz programming and engaging community events, it's the listeners that make the magic happen with annual financial support which makes up over 60% of the station's annual operating income! The Spring Membership Drive kicks off Friday, March 31st and runs through Friday, April 7th, with a goal of raising $85,000 during its spring fundraising campaign. Join or renew your support today...

No Foolin' Jazz Festival

KRTU is a proud media partner of this new event on Saturday, April 1st at The Block SA, featuring th Grown Folks Quartet, Tres Leches and The Audra Menconi Quartet.

Tuesday Night Jazz

For a second year, KRTU is returning to Liberty Bar to host "Tuesday Night Jazz," starting April 4th at 7:30 p.m. with special guests and themes every night until 9:30 p.m. Mark your calendar so that you don't miss the popular "BYOV" night on April 25th. The event is free and open to the public:

April 4    - Aaron Prado & The Music of Bill Evans
April 11  - JP Rominger: Gypsy Jazz to Fusion
April 18  - Kevin Nabors & The Music of Renowned Saxophone Players from Chicago
April 25  - BYOV: Bring Your Own Vinyl [Jazz] Night

Live Broadcast from King William Fair

With jazz music playing all day from the King William Park Stage at the very popular King William Fair on Saturday, April 29th, KRTU is excited to partner with the event for a live broadcast event! If you can't make it down to the festival, tune in to KRTU 91.7 FM and feel that you're right there listening in-person! The stage plays 10:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m., but stay tuned to our Events page for broadcast times.

These are just SOME of the ways you can celebrate the important American musical form and culture of jazz!
