The Tobin for the Performing Arts and the San Antonio Symphony present "A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald" - March 16th and March 17th in the H.E.B. Performance Hall.
The tribute honors “The First Lady of Song” and includes a program featuring many of her greatest hits from the Great American Songbook, including It Don’t Mean A Thing, If It Ain’t Got That Swing, How High the Moon, I Got Rhythm, Summertime, A-Tisket, A-Tasket, Satin Doll, Blue Skies, Bewitched and many more.
Several songs will be performed with the original Nelson Riddle and Billy May orchestrations and others are newly created by Tony Award nominated arranger Larry Blank.
