An official partner event will be Musical Bridges Around the World's 5th annual International Music Festival, which includes a performance by the International Sister City Jazz Ensemble on Saturday, February 3rd at the Charlene McCombs Empire Theatre

Under the direction of San Antonio-based composer, educator and musician, Aaron Prado, the International Sister City Jazz Ensemble includes saxophonist Shlomi Kohen (Tel Aviv, Israel); guitarist Prasanna (Chennai, India); guitarist Oscar Zensei Gonzalez, bassist Vico Diaz, vocalist Magos Herrera (Mexico); saxophonist and flutist Anke Schimpf (Darmstadt, Germany); and jazz pianist Sonoda Tomoko (Kumamoto, Japan).

KRTU 91.7 FM will broadcast the performance live, starting at 7:30 p.m. CST, which will conclude with new original music composed by Prado for this SA300 concert. The "San Antonio Jazz Suite" is among Prado's other composition credits, commissioned by then General Manager, Mayor Ron Nirenberg to commemorate "10 Years of Jazz" at KRTU, back in 2012!
