The St. Mary's University Legal and Social Justice Center is providing legal advice pro bono for South Texas residents with housing issues related to COVID-19 through The Housing Legal Advice Hotline. The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center: Virtual Cooking Workshop
The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center is hosting a virtual cooking workshop series with Dr. Lilliana P. Saldaña titled Taller Chicomecoatl: Mexican Indigenous Plant- Based Foods at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, via Zoom. This series of cooking workshops will cover the basic building blocks of Indigenous Mexican foods, including salsas, beans, maiz and their many uses and culinary variations. More information is available at
